The kite week ends on a Sunday morning, and I suspect I’ll be more sentimental about a rental key than is reasonable. Bag down, key returned, one last look at the sand from the road, then a bus north through Bar with the coast on one side until the bay of Kotor opens out and the whole landscape changes its mind.
The kite stays behind from here. The camera takes over. I’m expecting a small, slow afternoon — arrival, a first wander through Stari grad, a coffee somewhere whose name I’ll have lost by morning.
The road north and the first sight of the bay get written down here once I’ve actually rounded the last headland into it.
