Short hop to Budva

The shortest hop of the trip: a coffee in Kotor, the bag down to the bus, forty minutes over the hills, and Budva on the other side. A travel day this small barely counts as travel — the kind where the hardest decision is which seat has shade.

The afternoon is for finding the apartment, a first walk into Stari grad, and a long look at the beach to decide whether it’s a swimming beach or a sitting one. The kite week is two stops back now; the trip is fully into its coast chapter.
