Westward to the night flight

Dortmund → Köln → night flight · finally going · Wind: checked the forecast for tomorrow

A slow Dortmund morning, a few hours to spend in the city without spending money, then a long-distance bus west to Köln airport in the late afternoon. The good part of the day is short. The rest of it I expect to spend under fluorescent terminal light, guarding a small bag and resenting everyone with hand luggage that fits.

The flight leaves before midnight and lands in Podgorica just after one. Sleep, if it turns up at all, will come in the wrong shapes — half on a plane, half in an arrivals hall — and the next day starts while it’s still dark.
